Default Wow, Weird How Things Work!

Remember when Rex Ryan buried the game ball after a humiliating loss to a division rival (us)? Then, they go 11-5, go into the playoffs, and get a victory in their first playoff game with a field goal(Colts). Then, in their second they pull off a colossal upset on the road by seven points(Us).

In 2001, when the Pats were 1-3 after a humiliating loss to the Dolphins. What does BB do? He takes the game ball, digs a hole in practice the next day, and buries it. Yep, he buries it. What do the Pats do? They go 11-5, and into the playoffs. In their first playoff game, they get a victory in a close game with a field goal (Raiders). In their second they pull off a colossal upset on the road by seven points(Steelers)

We won the Super Bowl that year.

Here's the proof of the burying the ball thing : YouTube - Americas Game 2001 Patriots part 2

Yea, that's true. And I'll always hate the Jets. But at the same time though, it kinda makes me understand how their fans are feeling going into the Steelers game, kinda like the Giants in 07.

I thought my clock was broken, but I looked at it at noon, then again at midnight and it had the right time both times! Must have wound itself.
