It is what it is...

Bottom line is this: The Patriots made steps to return to the Patriot Way this season with the trading of Randy Moss, and the departure of malcontents like Adalius Thomas, Shawn Springs, and Laurence Maroney. It's very clear, that even with players like Tom Brady and Vince Wilfork on the roster, this is still a young Patriots team. That fact was on display today, as the mouthy New York Jets came into Foxboro and took it to the Pats. These New Englanders lack the swagger of the Bruschis, Harrisons and the rest of the guys that defined the Patriot Way. They have a long way to go, regardless of what the regular season outcome was.
