Default Senior Junior

I have to say that I am amazed at how well Junior is playing, and I'm happier with the guy today than I was the first time he shot the gap to take down a RB behind the line.

I was pretty bummed over his broken arm. I really wanted him to come back, and I wanted the team to win one "for him", so to speak. When I daydream the Lombardi being passed around, hey, I've already seen Tom handle it, and I've seen Tedy handle it. The guy I really want to see handle it is Junior.

Well, Randy too. All those new guys will be fun to watch if that magic moment happens again.

How about Wes Welker being bailed out from a 1-15 team to go catch 112 and get handle the trophy? Talk about zero to sixty in four flat.

Now if we could send Gutierrez to the practice squad and bring back Vinny (who conveniently retired), hehehe, perfecta.

I have to agree. I'm surprised how high level he is playing at. I can't wait to see him get his ring. Good for him.

Are we still allowed to sign Vinny?

Would love to see him get his ring....

Slightly off topic, one of my favorite locker room moments was when the Pats clinched a playoff spot in 2004, and Belichick called out one player in his post game speech. Not sure of the exact words, but it was something like,,,,Hey, where's Corey, hey Corey, guess what, your going to the playoffs.....It was a great moment, and would love to have it for my records, Anyone know if its you tube or on a particular dvd. its not of 3gtg.

Sure it is (on the SB39 DVD). Belichick is standing there with a football along with Dillon. Belichick says 'Corey Dillon, have you ever been on a playoff team before? Dillon says 'no'. Belichick says 'well, now you are'. The room explodes as Belichick gives him the ball.

That's a great story. For some reason I'm a SUCKER for these veterans getting their rings. In the case of Junior it might have been OK for him to miss that Indy game last year. So now he's back when we really need him. He's probably taking more snaps inside than any 38 year old LB in the history of the league.

The best feeling must be a three time champion like Tedy watching guys like Junior get theirs.

I'm still baffled at how anybody could look at our LB play and see anything but spunk and tackles. Aging? Well, sure. But ineffective? Not.

Ineffective!? Just watch.

If Seau keeps playing much longer they'll just have to induct him into the Hall while still active.
