This is the year. We put our failures in the past, it's a new year, a new defense. It's time to prove to the league that the Patriots are back and aren't going anywhere and they will be the last ones standing in Feb.

This is becoming a pattern... legitimate players that we cant find roster space for lock on with other teams.

Clint Oldenberg - Jets
Corey Mays - Bengals
Rashad Baker - Raiders
Kareen Brown - Jets
Justin Rogers - Cowboys
Garrett Mills - Vikes

It's not that these guys cant play, or that they dont fit on this team. In fact, most of them "showed" stuff in pre-season or regular season play for us, but got picked off our roster on waivers.

Just a sign to me of how deep our talent pool is, that teams are picking starters off our waiver wire.

Sucks, because I want to see guys like Mills, Rogers and Mays do well and grow for us. But, them's the rules, and it's all part of the game.
