Question How bad was the wind?

From those who attended the game, how bad was the wind?
Were there occasional gusts or often gusty winds?

I seemed pretty good on TV. How was it there?

What I don't get is some saying it was very windy but
Pennington's lobs didn't seem much affected?

Can anyone who attended the game give some insight?
Thanks

It was a cold, rainy, wet and very VERY uncomfortable.. I would say that the wind got MUCH worse the higher up in the stadium you went. I would also say "bone-chilling" is a great word to describe the wind..

although it didnt look like it on tv, the weather was completely MISERABLE. the wind wasnt bad at all, but the rain just seemed to find a way into your body. i would have much rather it have been snowing like hell, and 20 below.
as for penningtons throws not being affected, neither were bradys. brady had a horrible game, throwing wildly all over hell. i kind of like it though, because it showed we can still win if we have to without brady.

The wind on the field often is different than in the stands. From where I was in sec. 227 it was a pretty constant breeze out of the northeast -- you could watch the bands of rain march from north to south across the field under the lights. At times in the fourth quarter there were a couple windy blasts I'd say were in the 40 mph range. The rain/sleet NEVER stopped the whole game long.

Pennington dinks and dunks. He threw to guys open in the flats and short dump-offs over the middle going against the wind.

I know there's quite a few people convinced that Stallworth has played his way onto the bench, given the fact that Gaffney was in for considerably more plays than Stallworth yesterday. I contend that has more to do with yesterday's conditions than whether anyone's in the doghouse.

Would it be your opinion that yesterday's conditions in fact did favor short passes as opposed to the mid to deep threat?

Furthermore, do you think yesterday's conditions caused them to favor the run more than the pass overall - or has Belichick lost faith in the passing game alltogether?
