Default Tom Brady TD stats

If I'm not mistaken Brady needs 8 more TDs in 4 regular season games to tie Manning's TD record... not that winning doesn't come first, but it's something worth keeping an eye on

For those of you fractionally challenged that means he needs to average just 2 TDs a game to tie the record. More than that and he's the new record holder.

For the season he's averaging 3.42 a game and at that pace is projected to have 55 regular season TDs.

His lowest production was 1 TD against the Eagles. His highest was 6 against Miami - who of course we get to play again, along with the Jets. If I had to take a guess I'd predict he breaks the record in a big way against Miami.

If he gets 2 today then it’s a virtual lock he’ll have the record.

No way consecutive weeks at home against the abysmal Jets/Dolphins only results in 4 total TD passes, nor will the Giants limit him to less then 2.

With 4 TDs today, if Brady can dig down deep and find some reason to be motivated against the Jets, he might be able to tie or break the record next week.

That would be poetic!

If stone hands Randy Moss would stop dropping passes in the end zone (see last week's game against the Ravens and the 4th quarter drive against Pittsburg) he would have 21 TDs and Brady would have 47 TD passes. If Watson holds on to that pass last week on the first drive, Brady would have 48 TDs with 3 games to go to shatter Manning's record of 49.

I predict he'll get 52 TD passes.
