Default Is there a better blocking TE the GRONK?

I'll admit when I'm watching other Football games, I'm not focused on how the TE is blocking. But everytime they show a replay of Gronk blocking he looks like He's a man among boys. His blocks seem so dominant.

I know Alge is credited as being our "blocking TE" but is he a better blocker then Gronk?

Just wondering how other people think he stacks up against other TE's.

Most receivers think just standing their guy up is blocking.

Gronk begs to differ.

Yes, but the good news is Alge Crumpler plays on the same team.

The 2010 draft class gets more impressive with every game.

McCourty
Hernandez
Gronkowski
Deaderick
Cunningham
Spikes
Mesko

Hopefully Price begins to make an impact or at least next year...

Alge is the best blocker. Have a look at what he did to Freeney on Woodhead's touchdown run.

That's probably the biggest reason this season has been so much fun for me because I like watching those guys improve.

And what if they have similar results with the next draft?

Holy **** the rest of the league better watch out.

Beyond that all these guys are playing on rookie deals which leaves BB well positioned to make FA moves if he chooses assuming the cap comes back.

I saw Gronk absolutely manhandle Freeney on one possession as well.

These rooks have shown their talent. Now we just need patients and hope they can keep it at a consistent level and continue to improve.

But it's the best draft class in a Looong time.

Thats the one that stands out to me as well, I know Freeney isn't know as a great run stopper, but how many TE's take on a top DE like that?

I love how he stays with people and finishes every block with an attitude.

He has high Intentionality, when it comes to finishing his blocks

More patients are the last thing we need. Some patience will go a long way, however. And if we have fewer patients next year, along with the development of the 1st and 2nd year players, very cool.

it is because of the tight ends that the patriots are able to be so diverse on offense, BJGE's big game against Pittsburgh is indicative of a dominant O-line and Tight ends, there is nothing more important then these tools in the running game.

i like BJGE, but imagine what this team could do with a runningback who has breakaway speed, vision and durability.
