Default Pass interference stats pats and colts

i was stewing over PI this morning for some reason, so i went and looked up a few obscure stats. the amount of PI calls against us this year, vs PI calls against the colts this year. i figured it had to be completely lopsided. however, as i went through the play by play for both teams for the year, i was shocked to find that we are dead even. i had always figured they called more PI on us than the colts.
however, offensive PI is quite lopsided, as the refs seem to hate randy.
now, the colts are the least penalized team in the league, by about half compared to us. which means their PI percentage is double that of ours.
which leads me to a conspiracy theory. (there had to be one )
i dont have the time now to look, but i would be interested to know how many PI calls each team has. In other words, DO THE REFS HAVE A QUOTA FOR EACH TEAM!?. seems like its kind of odd the colts have as many as we do, yet have the least amount of total penalties by half.
or am i just nuts?

No conspiracy.

Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.

No conspiracy.

Just another moron trying to sound intelligent by using unnecessary complicated words when simpler words could easily and more efficiently be substituted.

LOL!

I've never seen that takeoff on Clarke's Law before!!

Edit: Keegs -- it's OK to miss the joke; Clarke's Law isn't THAT famous. But did you even stop to think whether there might be a joke to miss?

I got it. Great spin on Clarke's Law.

No conspiracy, anyone who thinks so is an utter moron. The NFL exists to make money not to make sure some team gets a trophy at the end of the year. Conspiring against or for any one team would cast a long shadow over the league's credibility which would make the fallout after the latest MLB strike look meager in comparison.

There are BILLIONS at stake not to mention that it means multiple people in a position of power are conspiring with EVERY SINGLE REF CREW THAT HAS OFFICIATED AN INDY GAME without anyone speaking up about it.

All so some team can get a trophy? Get a grip.

The Colts are a well-coached, disciplined team. That's why they get fewer penalties.

I love Randy and I'm glad he is on our team but the guy pushes off like nobody's business. You're going blind if you don't see it.

good post, seriously... but whether there is a fix or not, the refs favor the colts...

out of the 5 worst officiated games i've ever seen in my life, The Colts played in 3 of them.
1.) Colts vs. Steelers
2.) last years AFCCG
3.) This year's Colts vs. pats.

So not only were the colts in 3 of the worst officiated games ive ever seen, but they were the team that directly benefited from this horrid officiating.

it's too ridiculous to be a coincidence.

Here's your problem, right here.

Don't feel badly. The basis of most conspiracies is faulty logic and incorrect assumptions.
