Default Great Ted Johnson interview

He stopped by the WAAF studios this morning. The interview is about a half hour long, but it's a good one. He sounds great and says he's doing really well, even goofs on his health situation. He's got some great responses to questions and comments made about the Pats lately.

That interview is really good. Glad to hear Ted sounding so good.

I always liked Teddy, too bad he took too many shots to the head. I'm glad he got help for it though and is doing well.

Can you guys tell us any of the stuff he said about this year's Pats (if any)?

Thanks from the Lazy Brigade.

He'd pick Wilfork for defensive MVP with Vrabel a close second.

He said the Pats will go all the way. Said BB is aware of his place in Football history. He seems to be doing real well. He said the wins may be ugly, but championship teams find a way to win. Period.

You know how sometimes you have one vision, story, or statement of how you remember a player. For me, its hearing of the time Ted Johnson broke an opposing players helmet in two.

It makes me happy just to read the words "great Ted Johnson interview." I've been worried about him, glad to hear something good like this.

Yeah. I didn't hear the live interview, he showed up at the station about 6:30this morning. I heard he had been on and checked out their website when I got home. He REALLY sounds good. I'm thrilled, since the last time he was on he really sounded out of it and confused. Attaboy TJ!

For me, it was him going airborne over Pitts' O-line to horse-collar Bettes, who was trying to bounce it outside. This was the year before his first torn bicep, done tackling Bettes as well. They had some great battles.

``The officials now are evaluating the players and their performance, I mean, that's great,'' Belichick deadpanned. ``I can't say how much that means to me, really.''
