You have to admit, the parallels between the Eagles-Patriots game and Rocky IV are a bit uncanny. The underdog (from Philly) no one gives a chance to, goes into the den of the unbeatable behemoth and actually makes a game of it? Who would have thought?

How about this exchange from the movie:

Adrian: It's suicide! You've seen him, you know how strong he is. You can't win!

Rocky: Oh, Adrian. Adrian always tells the truth. No, maybe I can't win. Maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he's got.

After watching AJ Feeley almost beat New England, everyone has to reexamine their analyses.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe the Patriots aren't the best team ever. Maybe they are beatable. What was that Rocky said?

"If I can change, and yous can change, EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE!"

...Nah. I'm sticking to my guns and betting the Patriots circle the wagons, go 19-0, and become the greatest team ever. No one is knocking out Drago.

(11-0) I might have been premature on the “Best Team Ever” label. I might not have been. We’ll know more after the Pittsburgh game. I’m sticking with Brady as the best QB ever though. He’s dominated the league since taking the reins seven years ago.

Calling any NFL team, including the '72 Dolphins "unbeatable" is a misnomer born in a lazy man's mind.

Every team loses a game except for the '72 Dolphins, who came close to losing several games in '72. Go look at the box scores. Do you think Dolphins fans knew their team was going to go undefeated?

Undefeated is not the same as unbeatable.

Unbeatable is not even the same as winning comfortably. If you expect a team to cruise to comfortable wins 19 weeks in a row then you have to see a specialist. My generalist skills cannot help you.
