When they showed the replay with that yellow thing on each side of the posts to signify the goal posts extending into the air, the circle for where the ball was showed it as being good as far as I can tell as it was no where in the yellow.
Anyone else notice that?

Yes it was good. It's his fault for making it close enough to call bad but it was good. If a FG goes over the goalpost, all that is needed is for any part of the ball to go over the post.
It looked close to me, what I want to know is where was this "technology" a few Sundays ago?? This kick, IMO, was a bit closer, but AV's wasn't that far off either.
What did you guys think of Gaffney's catch?? Looked like his shin (not knee) was down in bounds. Regardless, I was surprised they did not review that play. Must be some conspiracy or something.

As near as I can tell on that play, after he caught the pass, one of his feet clearly came down (flat) in-bounds. I could have sworn he dragged his other foot through the dirt in-bounds as well.

Yeah, Andy Reid is in on the conspiracy.

Neither me nor my wife could figure out why Madden kept on about that catch. It was clear as day to me, Gaffney got both toes in, had posession and never came close to losing posession through the catch. It didn't need to be reviewed but if it had been there is no way it would be overturned unless I completely missed something.

Hard to argue conspiracy when it was the right call in the first place.
I did not think the Pats hurried to the line, so I suspect the reply officials thought it clear enough.

The FG was good.
No replay needed on Gaffney. He got both FEET in. Doesn't matter that the knee/shin landed out of bounds since both feet touched down first.

It was funny after two replays showing how wrong they were Madden just backtracked into something like "well they review it every other time, don't they?"
Which I guess is true, but when the right call is made, that's not a problem.

Who gives a rat's ass about Vinatieri and what he does? Gaffney's catch was unquestionably a touchdown. Watch the replay next time. You're really irritating, I don't care how many posts you've racked up here, you're a troll. Be gone.
