I disagree. He'd never admit it publicly, but I would think BB would want to go undefeated if he got to that point. Plus, the team already would have a bye week the next week.

I've been thinking the same thing for weeks, but lately I've changed my mind. I believe the Jets game will be played on the field like any other game this year (which is plenty amazing, anyway).

The major factors affecting their play will be the usual: injuries, weather, the opposing defensive alignment. Yes, the Pats will have a bigger chip on their shoulder, but they're playing with skill and energy every Sunday anyway. Their eyes are on the prize and the Jets are not it.

The main differences will be the fans in Foxboro, who will (and should!) taunt Mangina mercilessly, and the post-game takedown, er, handshake.

Whats the record for the most 2 point conversations? I am think that just for giggles the pats should pick either the Jets or Fish and go for 2 after each TD just to add something to the record book, and give everyone else something more to whine about.

Good idea, but as long as Gostowski is getting all his practice from exactly the same spot on the field, he might as well get a lot of it.

I would like to believe that too, but his production will be limited by the number of possessions they get. Buffalo didn't turn the ball over, so we only got 7 possessions for Brady.

I think Manning had 12 possessions against the Chargers.

If the defense can strip the ball a few times then we have a shot to get to the maximum damage level against any of these teams - another 6 TD game.

By "gents" you meant "gints"?

Normally I'd agree but with the severe butt-thrashing the Gints would risk without their starters in there, I'd guess that it will be a regular game until the fourth quarter.

Anyway, the Gints will be in a dog fight for a wildcard right until the end, and that game most likely will be a deciding game for them. They should be playing hard, not that it will matter. They do have a good pass rush, but their secondary is "normal" which means dead meat.
