"Some guys may take losing as just, 'We lost, but we still get paid,'" Tomlinson said. "As long as you have that attitude, you're going to be losers. Those kind of guys are going to come to the forefront and then they're going to be out of here. Guys like that don't last long around this league and certainly won't be around this team, and pretty soon they'll be out of here."
quite harsh.

It is harsh. But would a classy guy actually make those comments? I wonder...

I wonder if he would take less money to play for a winner???

I believe that the rest of the league would just quit if that happened.

I don't necessarily disagree with him. I'm sure if you heard similar comments form Brady we would be fine with it.

Maybe LT should consider taking a pay cut to come over to the darkside.

Imagine LT playing for Belichick. That would be the ultimate eating crow.

Those are comments for the team, not the media. What he's trying to do is to separate himself from what's happening to his team. It's a pretty lame thing to do if you ask me. Why does the media have to hear that? He proves what trash he is with every game he loses.

If that were Peyton Manning speaking folks would be screaming that he'd "thrown his team mates under the bus." LT needs to stay classy and save his comments for the locker room and team meetings. What constructive purpose does dumping on unidentified team members in public accomplish? None.

They have been plenty of examples of guys who said stuff like this in public that were lauded for it.

It certainly is possible that LdT has said this privately without the desired affect.
