Default ANOTHER record at stake

I was watching a video on NFL.com that said the Patriots are now 9-0, with a 12-game win streak starting last season. Since the Patriots hold the record for most consecutive regular season wins at 18, and there are 7 games left in this season, they will beat their own NFL record to 19 games if they win their November and December games, as well as have the chance to continue the record next September, regardless of what happens in the playoffs.

That's right, we will beat the NFL record for most consecutive regular season wins, which we already own, just by winning our remaining 7 regular season games.

As far as most consecutive regular season wins in just one season--oh yeah, it would mean we break that record, too, at 16.

And if we do go 19-0 this season, then we just need to win the first 3 games in September to break our own 21 game win streak which we had set before, with 22. That would also raise our most consecutive regular season-only win streak, also to 22. So, every win after that, both records will increase to the same number (23 and 23, 24 and 24, etc.)

I guess my point is that we are the best franchise in the history of the NFL if we not only set those consecutive win records but then are 12 of 18 (two thirds) of the way, or 6 wins, away from tying it again just three years later.

But haven't you heard? The Patriots are just LUCKY! And Brady is just a "system QB" that can in no way compare to the GREAT Peyton Manning. Pay no attention to Brady's 33 TDs thus far. That's just the system. He's really not THAT good. And oh yeah and ALL the Patriots success this year has been due to the videotapes, nevermind that the league has confiscated all the videotapes and DESTROYED them!
