Default More hype. Same result?

I guess its just a feeling I have about this game but does anyone else feel like this game will turn out like all the other Pats games this season? I mean first it was the San Diego game. Hype, hype, blowout. Then it was the Dallas game. Hype, hype, more hype, blowout. I know its the Colts and Manning and super coach but could this possibly end in another blowout and will that leave us Pats fans dissapointed that no one can engage us iin a close game? Personally, I hope it is a blowout. Would I be dissapointed? No.

I have the same feeling. I think that it comes from realizing that what we're seeing (without the benefit of hindsight) is the most amazing football powerhouse ever to play the game.

If this was a one-hit-wonder like Cinci a couple of years ago I could see it all falling apart at any minute. Teams that are up and coming without well grounded character can explode or implode at any minute. They can nose dive for years after that.

The thing is, we've watched this team for 7+ years and we know how *great* they normally play as a team, meaning with the team concept, the patience, the discipline, the smarts, the savvy of experience. We know they know how to win. We know they are well prepared, have great leaders, great coaches, and have all of the support systems of a winner in place.

And that's the starting point.

Now add in the skill players to compliment the one offensive super star we did have and what can you expect to happen?

Remember how the Celtics and Lakers would take turns? Well, it's our turn. Everything points to it. Nothing about this season indicates that it could be any other way, and that isn't taking anything from Indy. It's just our turn, and even Indy can't stand in the way.
