Default Jackson and Bethea

Anyone see these tools on ESPN this afternoon? they were interviewed together and asked about the game and tried their best to be Pats clones in BB speech, but couldn't hack it. They said Dungy gave them a light week and didn't want them talking to the media at all and especially before Wednesday, but here they are on Tuesday doing full featured double interview on ESPN. So let me get this straight their are reports out of Boston that some Pats have checked in on Monday voluntarily to get an early start and we have these clowns from the Colts doing interviews before they're supposed to and haven't even practiced yet. All this and we're the team blowing people out, our preparation may be one reason why. Just thought I'd point out some of the disparities between the teams approach I welcome more comments on different approaches to the game from the rival teams.

oh and BTW Why is Jackson doing stupid stuff like after having a concussion and only being a 4th year player and Bethea a second year player? Hardly the team representatives I'd want for my team. Although, Bethea has been impressive in his short career, Jackson is nothing but a recently concussed nickel back posing as a starting CB in a very suspect secondary.

Umm...did they actually say something stupid? Or are you just calling them "clowns" for the fact of having done an interview? Players for every team do mid-week interviews all the time.

Very good points!!

However we have to recognize the 2007 Colts as one of the greatest teams of all time.
Look at thier winning margin of victory, improved defense and pro-bowlers.
They are great and they could (40%) beat us.

Ok you can believe what you want about Jackson. The fact is though that the Colts have THE MOST physical pair of corners in the league. And obviously the Colts know what they are doing, since they are, well, 7-0 and the reigning World Champs!!!

I think you might be reading too much into it. I thought they were ok actually. They didn't talk trash and said the Pats were good and that they didn't think it was possible to "fully stop" the Pats offense. I'm not sure that by their doing this interview it means they are not preparing or that there aren't Colts practicing today also. I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater and hate on all of the Colts players like other fans do to the Pats.

Matter of opinion my friend. By the way, I assume while you are visiting here all week you will stop telling people on Indystar to get a life and get off your board?

It was hard to figure out which was more stupid - the whole post or this statement. WTH were you trying to ask? By the way, that suspect secondary ranks 1st in the the league.

For the sake of the Pats fans I'm glad you weren't interviewed.

Colts need some time off after two road games in less than six days. Colts also don't have to spend time traveling.

Patriots don't need extra rest, and they're going to lose a day traveling to Indy and settling in.

This thread sucks, it's beyond reaching. Wilfork is doing an interview today, too and he's also only a 4th year player. Why do some people need to hate the other team so badly that they're willing to make stuff up? This is the kind of thing I'd expect to read on ESPN, not from "true" fans.

LMAO! Let's see how your "MOST physical pair of corners in the league" do against our receivers, shall we?

The Patriots will put forth their best effort of the year against the Colts, I am certain of that.

I doubt you will be back here after the pats put up 50+ pts on Mr. 'Quiet Strength' and his team of whiney blowhards. I'll bet Bill Pollian has lodged 5 pre-emptive complaints to the rest of his lackeys on the competition comittee and stocked up on plenty of Midol by now.

Good. He'll need it.

Having said all that, this thread's original complaint is pointless.
