LMAO

Round 10 of my fantasy draft. I pick Welker.
The guys here in Northern VA say "Who?"

Two weekends in a row - 2 TDs and lots of yards. I think they now know who he is.

My best fantasy player.
I wish I just hoeered out at our fantasy draft and just went for Pats players .
Just think, I'd have Brady, Moss and Welker and the Pats D(not great ff numbers but consistent) and Sammy.
I'd be killing opponents.

Who would have thought it. I had made it a cardinal rule NOT to draft Patriots players, unless Brady fell to round 3.

Too bad I played by that rule this year.

Honestly, I don't know how Welker could be a surprise at 11 catches. He's a stud. There will be defenses that come after Moss and Stallworth, and challenge Welker and Watson to beat them.

They will beat them (like a drum.)

Actually, it was 9 catches on 11 attempts; the two misfires were both from Cassel. But think about the two things this says:
(1) 36% of Brady's pass attempts were directed at Welker.
(2) I'm not arguing Welker's not a stud. But I sure as heck never expected that Welker would lead all skill players (including the RBs) in yards, let alone all the wideouts!

My Dad has like 9 Patriot players on his fantasy team and Peyton Manning! LOL He couldn't get Brady, so he picked Manning in the second round. I told him to pick Randy Moss first, so he did (I know nothing about Fantasy football or anything, I was just telling him to pick Patriot players because of my love for them)...anyway, he has Moss, Welker, Maroney (had Sammie Morris, but dropped him when he got hurt) Kyle Brady, The Patriots for a Defense and a couple others. I told him he is going to be screwed come the bye week, but he said he didn't care, he wasn't dropping anyone!!

While we're on the fantasy note, I got to enjoy the total exploitation of a dol-fan on week-one. He offered me Brady, Jones-Drew, and the JAX defense for Peyton Manning and LJ....I mock him twice daily.
