That's what I just read at KFFL...also, the guys at PatriotsInsiders say that we worked out Kevin Barlow today. FWIW

The poster at &*^% misinterpreted Reiss IMO.

There's a thread here :

If we worked out Barlow I think Morris is out for more than 2 weeks but the fact that he may not being going on the IR is encouraging.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

That seems to indicate Reiss was right about Watson being out 2 weeks and Morris for much longer. I'd hate to see Sammy IR'd, but they gotta move on if that's what they're dealt.

Where and when did Reiss say he believes Morris and Watson are out for two weeks?

EDIT: OK, it's now apparent he didn't say it.

This is what he said from the link I provided a few posts up :

"Watson injured his left ankle and my sense is that he is going to be out for at least the next two games. I also think Morris, who was reported to have injured his chest (it looked like ribs), is probably going to be out longer than that."

I love how Reiss uses the word "sense." Just what the hell does that mean. Is there any evidence to back this up, or is this just Reiss' intuition at work here? Not buying what he's selling here quite yet.

Actually, he did say it:

Reiss is rarely wrong on these issues. His "sense" going into last weeks games included:

* Koppen would play.

* AD would play, but not as many plays as he had been prior.

* Maroney would miss another game.

All three nailed.
