This is the crux of this issue, BB wants to talk football, and the press wants to flame.. while it is newsworthy, BB is all about the product on the field. If he were to start talking about this he could not talk football.
Remember warm and fuzzy Pete Carroll, he was a darling of the press and gave out lots of info, but in the end this approach did not work either, and he was bashed all over the place. The press is what it is, a bunch of folks trying to make money off of bad news.
The press knows what to expect from BB, but they want him to change to their perception of what he should be.. he will not conform, that deserves a lot of respect in my eyes. Particularly in a media driven world that loves this stuff.
