I can't remember too many CEOs do as much damage to their own product as Kenesaw Mountain Goodell has done over the last week. By making a huge issue out of this, in the minds of many fans of teams that have lost to the Pats over the last 5 years the results have come into question. He has managed to put a small stain on his third most valuable franchise and given every loser that still lives in his mom's basement a reason to review every game for the past ten years. If one of these reporters, decides to stop acting like an expert and do some work, the list of violations for video taping will be longer the lines at Filene's on wedding dress day.

To me, not that anyone cares, there was a violation and a penalty should be assigned but not one that calls into question the integrity of the game. I feel like Goodell is promoting himself as the law and order guy at the expense of the Pats and the league.
