Default Are the Patriots on to something?. . . .

{CONSPIRACY THEORY!!}

Do the Pats have a tape of the Colts taping their defensive signals in the AFC championship game? The Pats are throwing themselves under the bus, and taking abuse like no other for it; maybe it's deserved. This is pure FICTIONAL thought here, but is BB gonna tell Roger Godell that he has EVIDENCE of the Colts doing this very same thing in last years AFC CG? Is he really that much of a Jedi? Is he gonna PROVE others have done this (the Colts) in Championship games?

I'm disappointed that they got caught; I am not upset that they may have been doing it. I am not enraged because, although I have no proof of this, it is widely understood teams all over the league are doing this very same thing. If the Patriots were cheating, I'd be upset. IMO, this was, and is, very much a part of the game in the league.

The Patriots, no matter what the penalty will be, are going to continue to destroy other football teams.

Week 2:

PATRIOTS (sans "HD-sideline-cheater-cam's") 31 - Bolts 19

At this point, I'm not going to rule out any possible explanation. Somehow, there's at least one piece of this puzzle missing, maybe more.

That would be nice.

The league already has ample reason to know that Polian adds artificial noise to his sound system ...
and fires up the furnace to suit his strategy.

Dude, you're on another team's fan board. What do you expect? Fair and balanced analysis? Come on, I've been on a few Chargers boards in my day. You should know better.

I kind of think "it is what it is" at this point but it's so weird at various levels that you can't help but wonder what's missing. I know I just don't get it.

This thread is an embarrassment to all Patriots fans. Cut the crap. We cheated, we got caught, take the heat, move on.

The AFC Championship has been addressed on other sites. The issue was whether the Pats were taping calls in that game or not. The answer is no, at least not on the sidelines. Supposedly no one outside of the network and NFL had cameras on the sidelines.

We did something against the rules - I'm not conceding on the cheating part yet.
