We are from North Carolina so it's quite a drive but hopefully will be a great weekend.
Since we have never been there I was wondering if you any of you could give your tips and hints on how to get around, etc. I know I'm asking alot so if you don't have time to help it's no problem.
We'll probably come up on Saturday and stay in Boston. I'm thinking about the Roundhouse Best Western on Mass Ave. Is this a good location? We would like to be able to get a feel for downtown Boston and hit up some good bars. If you have recommendations on where to go and what to do I would love to hear them. Also will these hotels be full on these football weekends?
Next I was wondering about tickets. I searched here and found that ebay and some other sites are a good way to go, especially nearer to the game day but there seemed to be some conflict. Should we buy tickets now for $150 a piece or wait till closer to the date of the game and try online? We are all in college so our budget is slightly tight.
Also wondering about parking. It's $40 to park, but do you need a pass already or can anyone show up and park? I read about taking a train from Boston and that is an option, but we would like to tailgate and at least be there early to take everything in.
I appreciate any input guys! Thanks alot and go Pats!

Get on Priceline, put in your price, make sure you hit downtown or backbay, and see where it takes you. Advice: don't drive around Boston. Take the T. It's faster and easier. Hit Fenway, Newbury St, Cambridge (Harvard & Central Square), bars everywhere obviously, maybe Qunicy market (though I avoid that tourist trap like the plague).
I have Buffalo advice if you need any,.
