Any concern over the folks Missing in Action yesterday?

From the Globe:

Quote:
Moss goes 0 for 4

The preseason ended without wide receiver Randy Moss playing a snap of game action. Moss missed all four exhibition games after injuring his left hamstring chasing a Tom Brady deep ball in practice Aug. 1. The same is true of tight end Kyle Brady, who returned to practice this week but did not play last night. The Patriots were without 11 players in all, including Samuel, defensive lineman Richard Seymour, and tight end David Thomas, both of whom are on the physically-unable-to-perform list. Safeties Rodney Harrison, Eugene Wilson, and Rashad Baker were absent. Offensive lineman Russ Hochstein, who was injured playing goal line fullback in a 27-24 loss to the Tennessee Titans Aug. 17, missed his second straight game; defensive lineman Mike Wright missed his third straight game; rookie defensive lineman Kareem Brown also did not dress . . . The Walpole Little League team, which advanced to the Little League World Series, was introduced before the game.

No concern over Moss. I'm pretty sure he'll be starting next week. I do however have a little concern over Rodney because he for some reason wasn't on the side-line with the rest of the healthy guys last night.

Any concern?

Have you not been here the past week? There are support groups set up to help people on here trying to cope with the fact that Randy Moss or Richard Seymour might not make opening day.

And frankly starting more threads looking at this is not helping those people. Their therapists have advised them to avoid all such thoughts, and just imagine #81 hauling in bombs from TB, and #93 ripping Noodle Arm's noodle arms off.

Your thread is irresponsible, and may be dangerous to health. I advise the mods to close it immediately before any more harm is done.

That's about it, yes. And watching the highlights of last night's pre-season game on NFL.com this morning, it is clear to me that Tom Brady has a head cold, which likely keep him out until early October. Now I'm not a doctor, but that's what I saw.

I think guys will be injured, and they'll miss some games because of injury. Happens every year to every team. I hope it doesn't happen to us more than any other team, but I think we have a deep group this year in most areas. Can't worry about it, we just have to watch the team that goes out there on Sunday.

I was here for the therapy sessions. Opinions have been heard from the 'everything is ok homer' to the 'sky is falling' cynics. But now it is D-Day, the health of these players will effect the final roster make-up.

Right now, we have to go through a lot of personnel decisions here in the next day and a half, and figure out exactly what we want to try to do. There are a number of factors involved. Not only just roster decisions, but practice squad spots. And some of the physical condition of our players, and so forth.

I will be concerned when the New England Patriots have lost their third game of the season.

Not before.

What about if the second one is against the Chargers on September 16?
