Default The official Worry Wart thread

There seems to be a lot of worrying going on here. Several threads have people worrying about one thing or another: Seymour, Moss, Samuel, old LB's, WR's, TE's, OL.

So I though that it would be good for the mental health of the board to put all the worrying on one thread. Maybe others can help calm the worrying.

My worry is opening with a divisional rival on the road. I remember the Buffalo game in 2003 all to well.

OK, what is your worry?

That they cut Rodney
... and Mangia grabs him
a few days before the game. :-)

Bless you, Patnut. I worry the Pats are not telling us everything about injuries.

Dose Moss really still have two legs? I'm not saying he's had one amputated, but can you verify he hasn't? Huh, huh???!!!

And Seymour, I think he's injury prone. Why every time two 300 lb. linemen try to smash him to the ground he ends up with some sort of knee, ankle, elbow or shoulder injuries.

Maybe he has brittle bones.

I know after the second two a day on that 97 degree day just about every player was walking slowly and gingerly toward the locker room. I think they all have shin splints, hammy's and torn ACL's.

I feel somewhat comfortable at WR with Troy and Chad Johnson on the PUP and Kight and Bam with some familiarity, but i wonder, is 13 receivers really enough?

I'm really worried now, I hope you can reassure me our seasons not on the brink of disaster Patsnut.

Things I've been concerned about but not really anymore.

1) Maroney's ability to be a #1 back.

2) The running game, in general.

3) Offensive Line (still not quite feeling great, but Carolina has a good front 4 and they didn't get anywhere near Brady).

4) Secondary without Asante.

5) Depth at safety with Meriweather needed in the slot.

Things I'm still concerned about.

1) Tedy Bruschi's play (I will always love him, but his coverage abilities are slipping and he's not shedding blocks the way he used to).

2) Moss's health.

3) Brady's long ball.

4) McDaniels staying committed to the run this season.

5) Adalius Thomas adjusting to the Mike spot.

6) Maintaining a consistent pass rush against good offensive lines. We've underachieved there in the past few years.

7) Turnover differential. Why was it so poor last year?

Nut, I had the same thought as I sat through the Giants-Jets game Saturday night. I kept saying out loud, "What the hell are the Jets doing?" They were so milque toast in their offensive approach I was shocked. The defense played only marginally better.

They looked as bad as I want them to play so now I am terrified.
