Brady "expected" for tomorrow's game
Hey all -

Pats spokesman Stacey James tells us his expectation is that new daddy Tom Brady will be in Charlotte for the all-important third preseason game against the Panthers tomorrow night.

He cautions, however, that there are variables which could delay Brady, who will be flying in from California.

I hope the Pats err on the side of caution. If Tom has jet lag,

he is better off not playing. Usually, BB sits players who have

not practiced a couple of days before a game.

I doubt he'll be lagged. Probably flying in on a private jet with all the acoutrements including comfort for naping. He's not flying coach.

He was flown to LA on the Krafts private jet. The same jet is taking him to Carolina. Oh, to be a top ranked QB!!! Must be nice.

Apparently he goes right back to LA after the game to spend some time with his son and then he is lock down for the season.

If he was still going with Bridgette he might have hung around longer. But after bouncing seeing the kid a couple of times, there probably wasn't much to say to each other. "So how's Giselle, Tom?"

Other guys on the team have left during the week for child births in the past, yes? But I don't recall any missing a game because of it. I don't think Brady would want to be perceived as different or more "special" than his teammates so I wouldn't expect him to miss the game. Even if it is pre-season.
