If you learn from what you see growing up, he had a role model in his father who stayed at the Naval Academy for 30+ years despite multiple opportunities to go elsewhere. As was written in Halberstam's book, The Education of a Coach (wish I could find the quote) he writes that BB said that the grass isn't always greener. That one comment leads me to conclude that BB is of the mind that if you find the right situation, ( good ownership, good front office, success on the field) there's no reason to be searching out the next opportunity because it may not be the way it seems.
Put another way, from what we know as fans, who would you rather work for, Bob Kraft or Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder?
