And the hits just keep on coming... (sorry if this was posted else where but there are like 40,823 Vick threads)

Vick is now a "person of interest" in an Arizona dog fighting ring.

Let me state this as simply as I can.....

MICHAEL VICK WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER PLAY FOR THE FALCONS OR ANY NFL TEAM AGAIN - HIS CAREER IS ALL BUT OVER AS FAR AS THE NFL IS CONCERNED - NO PLAYER HAS THE ABILITY TO COME BACK FROM CHARGES AS DEVASTATING AS THESE - THIS IS NOT A DRUG OR STEROIDS ISSUE,ITS MUCH WORSE FOR A CAREER.

If he's convicted you're probably right, if he's acquitted... Ray Lewis came back from worse...

Eh... people have short memories... If he cools his jets for a year or two in the slammer, he'll come out and still be in his 20's... never say never...

I have as much disdain for Lewis' act as the next guy, but Lewis most certainly did not get away with more. It is a common misconception that Lewis was the suspect in a murder. In reality, he withheld material information about a homicide.

I am not backing his actions. But he is not the murderer that people seem to think he is.

Lewis was initially charged with (and tried for) the actual murder, not as an accessory. He ended up pleading guilty to obstruction of justice when it became obvious the prosecution didn't have a case, but the initial charge was for the actual act of killing someone.

He's facing 5 years on the conspiracy charge. And there is the potential that vick can be charged with numerous counts of animal cruelty if they convict him on MORE than just the initial indictment.

If Vick spends 5 years in prison, he'll be 32 and won't have been on a football field for those 5 years. Vick relies almost solely on his legs. Do you honestly believe that, if he survives prison, hell still have the same speed he does now?

not to mention if they bag him for the gambling. That can be a lot more jailtime, if they have the evidence. And under the NFL's policy, he can be banned for life for gambling.
