The two probably go hand in hand. If his desire is TRUELY just to win, then he has to realize that even just decoying and sprinting downfield every few play will ALWAYS mean that 2 guys get pulled well away from the play. That'll clear out so much room for the other guys to move. He'll obviously get his touches too.
Bottom line, if winning is his primary motivation {and it seems to be}.... weather he gets 70/1200 or 40/600 his service will be invaluable to this offense. He has to know that after nine years in.
