Default I love.....

I love.....

- fans who think they are directors of player personel and upset because the Pats passed on player(s) that THEY had high on their draft board...

- that Miami basically took Bethal Johnson with the 9th pick in the draft.

- how the experts ignore the fact that they picked up Welker, Moss, a 1st and 3rd in 2008 as well as a potential impact db in Merriwether when calculating draft grades.

- how some fans don't get that it is good to trade low picks for high picks in the following draft year. Especially when it involves picks in the 1st three rounds. By the way, the Pats have been very successful doing this year after year.

- how the jets basically traded their whole draft for two players....

- how Buffalo dumped a RB with baggage only to pick up another with maybe more baggage.

- to know how Cladwell and Gaffney felt after seeing the Pats pickup Welker, Stallworth, Moss and Washington.

- to see Seau comeback for one more year and try to win a ring.

- that Randy f-ing Moss is a Patriot!

- that i am a New England Patriot fan!!!!

I love.....

The irony of somebody accusing other fans of thinking that they are personnel directors and their next comment is ridiculing a professional front office for a personnel move.

Reading our competitions forums and laughing at one post after another professing utter despair and helplessness with regards to their Super Bowl chances for the upcoming season.

Hey! We aren't guessing, you know. We don't need 30 full-time scouts and 5,000 DVDs. We watch Sportscenter and Around the Horn, so we know the score with college talent. Plus a lot of us bought a draft guide at the supermarket, so I think we are pretty well qualified to tell BB where he screwed up.

If we say he should have drafted a LB, then accept the fact that BB screwed up by not taking a LB.

I think most people in the national media have accurately reported that the Pats got Welker in the 2nd round and Moss in the 4th round. Also, the Pats deferred one of their #1 picks until next year; they didn't really accumalate an additional pick.
