Default Seau

Is he going to return. Are the Pats interested in bringing him back. I think we need him and 1 young, high draft pick so we can rotate our Lb's all season long and keep them fresh so we won't get worn down late in the season like last year. Any info would be great.

I don't think they will do anything with Seau until after the draft is over with so they can evaluate the holes left with the team.

I think the draft will have alot to do with keeping Seau - If we draft two LB in the first few picks I think Seau will be gone and a rookie will mix in with Bruschi,Thomas and Co. - If we don't pick LBs on day one I think we retain Seau for another season.

Someday I think Seau would make a great Defensive Coordinator or LB Coach once his playing days are over.

if all this buisness is true about us looking at hartwell, and we sign him, then i think seau is gone. even if we draft a rookie LB i still think we keep seau, hes a good role player.

Ran into Junior surfing today, and he's stoked about the possibility of coming back, but he's considering his options at this time. He's got no timetable, but said that he'll wait for the team to get through the draft before he has any conversations with BB. His arm feels good, and it's obviously not keeping him out of the water. Says he's supposed to have the pin removed in about 2 months.

That's almost too weird to believe - but I do believe you

Like others have said, we still have the second phase of free agency, the draft and the third phase of free agency to go . . . and Seau fits into the latter group. He was a great fit and I'm sure Belichick wouldn't hesitate to bring him back depending how things go between now and May.

BF, I'm slapping the Gullible tag on you. If, during the 2007 season you express any form of doubt, you will automatically be traded to another, less credible, message board.

Funny it was on the same day but I ran into another Patriots player today just like you!, Johnathan Sullivan at my local McDonalds and he was saying if the Patriots still needed a full time Defensive player he was ready for camp and was vowing to wow us this time, and not only that but said he definately will make the pro bowl!!

Although it was hard for me to understand him with those 2 big macs in his mouth at the same time (who said he was not an amazing athlete, not many guys can fit 2 large burgers at a time in their mouth) while we were talking but I truly believe he is rarin to go.

Lookout Vince for your starting job,Johnny is comin' back! (ready to practice,as soon as the supersize fries are gone, that is)

Although I am a proponent of logic and proof, I have found there are some things one has to accept on faith.

I choose to believe this guy was just surfing with Junior Seau, just cause it would be so cool if it were true.

I also believe he gave him the surfer hand signal that looks like a longhorn thing that you wiggle, while he was talking about the Pats.

And Tom Brady was just 'playing doctor' with Bridget
