Default What an awesome offense!!!

Five wide:

Stallworth, Gaffney, Watson/Thomas, Welker, and Caldwell.

That is going to cause MAJOR headaches for defenses.

And if Maroney does what he should be able to do and break some major runs.... this is going to be the best offense we've seen in NE ever.

One other thought: who else thinks that Faulk will play a MUCH more active roll as a primary RB this year?

I suspect he'll be used more than 3rd down situations.

It sure looks like it has the potential to be very explosive. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope everyone stays healthy.

While you guys have made some nice additions, I think you're all counting your chickens prior to hatching. (Or whatever that stupid saying is.)

Remember, Stallworth is still very injury prone and has never gone over 1000 yards. Welker is a nice player and all, but nothing more than a good #3 target. And I hate to tell ya' this, but Caldwell isn't scaring any one either.

Look, just because Dolphin fans have never got over excited with an FA acquisition that fell flat on its ugly overrated face....a QB for example.....there is no need to act so superior.

Just wait til your franchise finds itself with gaping holes on the roster and attempts to plug in an over priced FA from Minnesota - and then watch in despair as he and his offense become the laughing stock of the NFL.

Yeah....just you wait.........Miami can't dominate forever you know.

hahahaha

jealous much?

we stomped you guys in the standings last year and you lost your coach and cut 12 guys! we've signed all kinds of talent and you know we're way better and it just kills you!
stallworth, caldwell, welker and gaffney will be tremndous for the pats. you guys are retarded for letting us get welker - it's a terrific player. by making the claims your making, your just making a petty fool of yourself and we're all laughing at how sad you are! keep trying though, it's comical to watch you crawl!!

You don't get it, do you?

Brady can make high school receivers look like all pros.

With this group, he's going to dominate. Because that's what Tom Brady does.

Lynn Swann never had a 1000 yard season, he's in the NFL Hall of Fame. Not comparing the two, but getting 1000 yards receiving isn't the end all or be all, especially in our offense, we don't have #1 receivers, Brady hit's whoever is open. Stallworthmay be injury prone, but so was Caldwell, and he played all 18 games (wish he only played the first 17, lol). Welker is the PERFECT replacement for Troy Brown, a very good slot receiver (led the Phins in receptions from the slot), and return man. Also an excellent team player. None of our receivers will have 1000 yards receiving, but with the adition of Stallworth and Welker, that gives Brady more targets to throw to. Anyone who watched the Pats in the playoffs, had to be impressed with Jabar Gaffney, who I believe led ALL playoff performers in playoff receivin stats. Stallworth, Gaffney, Welker, Watson & Caldwell (who was very good until the Indy playoff game) are the reasons why we are excited. Definately better than last year, and we were one minute away from going to our 4th Super Bowl in 6 years. We didn't sign the best receivers in the NFL, just the best ones to fit out team.

Still have over 8+ million before we reach the cap, and now the emphasis will be on defense if we sign anyone else and/or the draft. Very exciting for Pats fans. We have a tougher schedule this year, and injuries always seem to haunt us, but if the Pats stay healthy, there's no reason to believe that the Pats won't be in the AFCCG once again.
