He who tips off the board about it automatically gets nominated to provide either a transcript (if you're good, like pats1) or at least basic highlights of it for those of us who can't hear it.

Looking forward to your report.

I heard the tail end of it....just one question about zach thomas....said that hes a nut in the film room. He said the guy never leaves the facility, always studying and trying to improve. I know they probably talked about more important things but thats the only thing i caught. I heard them say at the end though that it seemed like Kyle Brady, Adalius both seemed like they were reading from a script written by BB and felt the same way about welker. They thought he was a perfect fit, someone who puts football ahead of ot her things....
anyone hear the rest of it

Wes is going to be a really good move by BB.....

Where the hell does Brady live anyways? Besides the condo in NY? I'm curious what his advice would be LOL

Wes Welker is going to be a fan favorite with the Patriots. This is a great move.

WEEI is very good about putting interviews up on their archive. They have AD, K. Brady, and Izzo interviews up now--I imagine the Welker one will be up soon.

Well it's not like Tom arrived here as the #1 draft pick in 2000. He shared a rental condo with another player at first, then after XXXVI when he got his first real deal he made plans to build in the Foxboro area but ended up instead buying a house for himself and a condo for one of his sisters at Marina Bay in Quincy - where quite a few Boston athletes live in season as I understand. Then when he signed the last contract he bought a building on Beacon Hill which I believe includes a residence for him and 2 others for 2 of his sisters who live here year round.

The condo in NY is likely still a work in progress, and has been on and off the market again since he bought it this winter. He did that supposedly because of Bridget doing series work in NY and to get away from the girls at the Track. But dating Giselle has made media avoidance a moot point.

As for Wes, he sounds like a really neat and intelligent and self assured guy who will be a fun teamate and great clubhouse guy. Said the Pats contacted him immediately when the FA period opened, and he was thrilled. When some questions arose over the weekend about whether Miami might match the tender or whatever, that got tough because in his mind he was already a Patriot. They asked him what he used to think when playing against us, and he said don't you wish you played for that team.
