Default Thomas' comments

Linebacker Adalius Thomas held a conference call with the media and touched on why he signed with the Patriots:

“We knew what we were looking for -- a chance to win, a great organization, and I think New England called and gave us all the things we were looking for. I came up here, did a visit, and everything fit. There was no need trying to look for something else. We didn’t want to drag this out into a circus. We wanted to come in and get to business.”

Thomas said the Patriots "have a great thing going here and I'm along for the ride.”

We'll have more from Thomas in a bit.

Cool Re: Thomas' comments

I think he will quickly become one of my favorite Patriots. An absolute force on the field and, by all accounts, a great guy off of it. Definitely seems like he's got his priorities in order!

AWESOME. The guy sounds like he knew what he wanted...we knew what we wanted. No wonder it was done so fast and with none of the circus antics we might have expected.

He THINKs NE gave everything he was looking for? WE DO GIVE EVERYTHING. This guy is a complete idiot "sarcasim".

Good to hear he wasn't interested in a circus like spectical (or bidding war). He wants to win, and that is the NE way. Great signing.

He sounds like a class act; I'm really happy that he's here. I can't wait to see him in a Patriots uniform.

I am very excited! I love the comment that he wanted to get this done and not drag it out into a circus.

Look how quickly the Patriots moved to improve themselves...A.D., Kyle Brady, and I thought I heard they signed Sammy Morris.

Sweet.

They did sign Morris and supposedly targeting Welker with an offer sheet.
