Their problem is defense and an inability to stop the run, so they go and sign offense. Makes sense to me. You'd think that Martz was still there with that logic.

Not much of a loss to the Patriots as they already have 2 possession receivers in Caldwell and Gaffney.

Yes, he's a good player, but they need help defensively more than anything. They're a ways off from contending.
