Default can someone explain something to me..

Ok so maybe I havent read up on FA as much as I should have..

But what is going on..Clements getting 80 mil, Ravens paying 18 mil for a Fullback...??

109 mil cap two years ago it was 92mil

ill bet 80M he never gets 80M

the SB is the most important thing; next, the first 3 years pay...
the pay in the 8th year doesnt matter; he will never see it

This doesn't do much for Asante's peace of mind. It does indicate $1.3mil for Blue isn't out of line.

Fine, but with a $22M bonus, the middle years of that contract are pretty well covered.

I'll bet that the average over the first five years is closer to $8M, with the last three years being designed to pump up the value of the contract (to be the highest ever signed by a defensive player).

Actually, it was the Falcons paying 18 million for Ovie Mughelli. Mughelli is a very good FB. Not worth 3 mill a year.
