It is really worth remembering that we are all human beings with feelings and I imagine that most of us are basically nice people.
I've said stuff that I have later regretted. I think it is useful to remind ourselves that there are other people on the forum, not 0s and 1s.

I've been posting on-line at one place or another literally since 1990 and it was the same then (as far as how people act on-line) as it is now. And I don't see it ever changing.
