Default OT:Eagles Receivers

Since we were talking about pats receivers , thought this would be an interesting discussion...
anyone see them today against the giants ? pretty decent for a no name group, brown, basket,lj smith...i think eagles are a team very similar to the pats (TO saga aside) who let their players go and keep playing well...
i hope our no name receivers work out like they did for the eagles

Which receivers have the Eagles let go? Billy McMullin?

That receiver corps has been so bad for so long that its not so much them achieving as the law of averages beginning to work in their favor.

I was thinking along the same lines SVN. It is a valid comparison.

Reggie Brown is beginning to come into his own as a pretty good wr. He had a decent rookie year, but like most wr's, is having a better second year. I would like to see Jackson put up similar numbers next year.

Stallworth has helped but he is not a clear cut #1. He has more yards and td's than Reche but Reche has more catches.

Aside from that, you have a bunch of very pedestrian wr's on both teams.

If a qb has time, he can make a wr look pretty good when they are on the same page.

It is a fairly valid comparison if you consider TO fiasco = Branch fiasco. Thats where the comparison ends though. I would take Reggie Brown and Donte Stallworth over Chad Jackson and Reche Caldwell in a heartbeat.

No no no!! You can't win with no name receivers!

They need to cut them and resign T.O. and Pinkston!!!!!
