Default Chad Jackson -- will he make a difference?

Is there any hope that Jackson will make some major plays in the games to come?

Is he going to be one of these lame WRs who is *constantly* injured?!

So much potential, but he's gotta stop pulling things....

If he gets healthy, which is extremely questionable at this point, he will make a difference. At least I've convinced myself of that, for better or worse.

I can only hope that he improves next year and starts tapping the potential he's shown he has, but if he really hasn't practiced for a few weeks before this one (as Brady himself said), he's done for this year. Even if he gets healthy BB won't use him unless we're desperate.

I'd say no. He hasn't practiced, is often injured. When he is in the game Brady barely looks at him.

The impact will be next yr.

probably not this year to be honest...maybe a catch here and there...BUT this guy is no bethel...we have seen flashes of excellence and i think he will be a good receiver im sick of the "chad jackson is a bust" threads....an injured leg doesnt mean he sucks...nobody called watson a bust after he was injured his rookie year...we just didnt notice cuz we had other TE options...
wait till the guy goes through an offseason and camp with his QB then we can gauge him...so yeah he was a big dissapointment but not because he got put in and didnt have wat it took to be a good receiver...but rather because he was injured...
BB and TB have said it time and time again...we cant tell yet he hasnt strung together a few weeks of practice/games yet enough to gauge his talent and potential to produce...

The entire wr situation in very bizarre now. They are so thin. it seems like brady is purposely not even looking at him. no trust there, which i guess is understandable. it's amazing how greg jennings and marcus colsten have been productive as rookies.

I think the jury is out until next year on this guy. No help this year.

It has always seemed to me that BB doesn't really understand the WR position or its importance.

What I find most depressing is knowing that if Brady truly had a playmaking WR (like a Harrison or a Moss or even a Price), the entire offense would likely be so much more vicious, helping out both the running and passing games.

Alas, I think as long as Brady and BB are together we're going to have to settle for a stream of wide receiver "leftovers".
