Default 4 Games to Glory!

The last game was a bummer and the "overall" trend is not where we would like it but the fact remains that the team will make the playoffs and anything can happen. With site access slowed I was able to move from Denial to Anger to Acceptance.

Expectations may be a little out of line within all the recent success, making the playoffs is damn hard. I still lean more towards the camp of "Do whatever you can to win with Brady as the QB, screw the future." but it is what it is. There are lots of things that I would have done differently in my little "GM for a day" world but none of that matters now.

Watching the game I felt like I did after game 3 of the 2004 ALCS, we hosted a party and watched the Sox get clobbered by the Yankees. I had tickets to game 4 and when I woke up with a hangover I didn't even want to go to the game. As the day progressed I wanted to get there earlier to give D Lowe a good ovation and cheer the team onward. As it worked out I was about 25 feet from where Ortiz hit his game winning HR (I look for myself in every clip of the blast to no avail).

The Pats are in the game, anything can happen. After all the pure joy Brady has given us lets keep our fingers crossed that something good can happen this year. Even if we don't win it all and knocked out someone like the Colts, that is like a mini Superbowl.

Personal favorites in the last 5 years
- Beating the Faiders (Tuck, Tuck, Tuck)
- SB over the Rams
- beating the sissy Colts (Twice!)
- Bruschi snow game
- beating the stupid Steelers in Pittsburgh

They are going to be in for a hard road, and if Maroney ,Watson , or Wilfork are not back in time.. Cincy is going to come and clean our clocks..

Considering we haven't beaten an AFC team since October 22nd, I'd take each game one at a time before thinking about playing well against 4 good teams in consecutive games.

Put it this way, we need to win out and look well doing it.. We may not be higher than the 4th seed, but so what play each game like a playoff game, since you have not show anything since October.. Finish 12-4 and let the chips fall where they may..

So what team do you root for? Just curious.

Nice analogy with the Red Sox. Do you want to specify which playoff victory over the stupid Steelers in Pittsburgh you liked more, or do you want to make it six personal faves?
