I love new football fans who are learning the game. Welcome aboard.

Today was Patrick Pass' 2nd lost fumble in a 6+ year pro career.

Next week, maybe we'll explain to you what a left tackle is!

Dear Moderator.

Thank you for such a witty reply. Why, should you not be at the game with such wonderful insight?

I've been there, seen it and done it... all the way from Dick McPherson's heart attack... and more... at great expense, may I add.

To get back to my previous post, Pass is indeed a poor mans Kevin Faulk.

To say that he's turned over the ball twice in six years is like saying Mike Vrabel has turned the ball over twice... His hamstring fumble made my blood boil and this turnover was just pathetic.

He is to Wide Recieving as Edward Scissorhands is to giving a girl foreplay. May I hasten to add that he runs with as much aggression as Stephen Hawking at times?

Pass is a jack of all trades and master of none. He's been a 4th choice back since I can remember and never comes close to even threatening anyone's place on the roster. Face it... he's another Bethel...

Had 2nd choice Bethel been as accomplished and versatile at his position as 7th pick Pass has, he'd be starting receiver on this team.

Quite a lot of fumble problems these days if you ask me.

A Jack of all trades is what you want as a backup. It's not an insult, it means he is a passable substitute for many roles.

Don't worry about it. He's an embarrassment as a moderator.

There are a couple people here who go bananas when you point out that Pass is a liability. Moderator or not, expect him to personally insult you if you suggest the Pats are better off without Pass.

Suggest that Pass is a liability and they start comparing Pass to Brady and Dillon. Pats1's favorite answer to any Pass analysis is , "Well, why not just cut Brady then?" They have no grip on reality, and get downright ugly if you don't see Pass the way they want people to see him.

Just do what I do. Hold you breath whenever Pass gets the ball. Exhale if he doesn't drop it. Luckily he almost never gets the ball, even when Dillon and Maroney aren't available. Why he gets the ball at all when they have Faulk and Evans available is beyond me. Same reason they forget to use the play-action pass, I suppose.

Oh, and don't come back to this thread because the Pass Apologists will be swarming around Pass like files on poop with all kinds of twisted stats like how few fumbles Pass has had. Oops. Smessy already did. He likes to talk in years rather than in carries becuase it sounds better.

I don't blame him for that. If I were so stupid to think Pass was an effective runner, and I knew he fumbled twice in his last five carries, I'd try to find misleading stats, too, or attack you personally.

Stand by for the poop flies.

Talking Re: Patrick Pass

Hey, Spacecrime, glad to see you back!

At first, I was bewildered why you would have such a chip on your shoulder. Then I remembered!

Good times, man. Good times.

Shmesssy is a joke. He thinks becuase he has more posts on here and is a moderator that his opinion is always right.

This is a Patriots message board. Having a lot of posts doens't make you a toughguy Shmessy and gives you no right to personally insult anyone.

If you have that little going for yourself that you act like that about a messageboard than you are pathetic. You smart off to people over the internet and think that you are a

He insulted my family on here before when we were having a discussion about football..

A reall class act that Shmessy is.

More like a scumbag. I don't know why he acts like he's joe harda$$ becuase he's a "moderator" and what's even more puzzling is who gave him that role.

Whoever did should take it away so we can watch him cry. I would find it very amusing.

I'm not a big Pass fanatic, but I don't remember him being a fumbler at all.

He had that hamstring incident, but does somebody have statistics about him fumbling?

Faulk has always struggled with it and probably always will, but Pass is a pretty strong guy.
