Default Is it a bias statement....

...to say that if I was a college football player, I would want to go to the Pat's... period? I would not want to play for any other team.

I would think college kid's would like to go to their favorite teams, given that they can earn money elsewear... they should still have some say in what team they want to go to.

It's been like, a dream of mine to catch a football pass for a TD... and if I was being drafted, I would want that to come from Tom Brady. Is that Bias?

Yeah it's bias, but for a Pats fan a dream none the less....

It can be your dream, but you'd be stupid to limit yourself like that.

you need to earn your playing time on the Pats. it is much easier to just be given a job.

the Pats are less liekly to sign you to an expensive extension.

the Pats silence you. Good luck building a bankable personality when you can't talk to the media.

the Pats want well-rounded players. it's hard to build up big sack #s when you sometimes drop into coverage or absorb a blocker. it's hard to catch passes when you're on the bench because you can't block.

there are probably others I am missing.

on the positive, the Pats can build up your value so you can cash in on one free agent contract. David patten is a great example of being helped by the Patriots.

Oh, and you have a good shot at a ring.

As for catching passes from Brady, I'd rather catch passes from Peyton and get a huge extension.

I don't know about "bias" or "biased", I guess by definition it is.

It is stupid though. Suppose the Pats don't need any WR or whatever position you played. So you'd rather sit out and be unemployed than play with another team for 100,000s of thousands of dollars? Really smart there.

Players could do exactly that anyway. Just don't sign with a team that drafts them and instead insist that you will only play for your favorite team. If you don't sign you can be drafted again the next year. Maybe the next year you'll get lucky. If not just wait again. No one does that.

It would be a dream of yours? Do you even play college football? Not much of a dream then. More like a fantasy.

Not only is it biased, it's patently absurd.
