Don't be fooled!
It's all a big conspiracy, this is how it happened:
Not too long ago in an undisclosed location, BB meets with select members of the New England media:
BB: Thanks for coming guys. As you all know, I blew it. Adam's gone, Willie's gone, David and Deion bailed, there's no way we can compete this year.
unnamed media member: what can we do to help, Bill?
BB: Well, my team seems to play better when they are underdogs and feel like their not being respected. If you could lay it on real thick every week, act like you hate us and tell everyone that we don't have a shot at victory, you'd really be helping us out a lot. Now, I don't want you to compromise your journalistic integrity...(laughter).., but as you all know, the collective psyce and therefore the fate of New England hinges on your every word.
unnamed media member:We'll do it Bill, but only because of our love and respect for you, the team and the wonderfull folks of New England.
*This information was relayed to me thru a friend of a friend who's mother shares Tanguay's hair "stylist" and Borges' manicurist, so it has to be true.
