Default Forced Turnovers

The D has regressed in that teams do not fear our D as they used to back in 2003-2004. Yes, they respect us, however, the FEAR aspect has been missing since 2005 start

In 2005 we had very few forced turnovers. This trend continues through the first 3 games of 2006. What this leads to is the Offense is expected to convert on long drives time in time out, and now with a new collection of WR's, just puts added pressure on Tom B to convert every drive

If this continues through the first half of 2006 season, it will make for a tough road during playofftime.

D needs to step up and create more turnovers.

If it does not improve, and quickly, I could see a simular path as 2005. But I keep telling myself it's not the same season, so anything is possible. A fumble recovery or a couple INTs would go a long way for me.

There was a brilliantly written thread on this subject posted on 9/23/06.

You can find it if you search the forum under ' Giveaways/ Take aways".
