Hey everyone ... here are a few practice notes, including info on Tedy Bruschi, Willie Andrews and the media getting an up close and personal look at the running backs.

http://www.patsfans.com/price/blog/?q=node/444

Don't forget to check back later--we'll have the first injury report of the week around 4 p.m.

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the update, Chris. I'm looking forward to seeing the injury report (Seymourwise).

Thanks Chris, the Q&A with Green was a good read too.

Here are a few quick notes from practice this afternoon at Gillette Stadium:

•Two players were not present for the portion of practice the media is allowed to watch — TE Garrett Mills and DL Richard Seymour. The rest of the team was present and accounted for.

•Linebacker Tedy Bruschi, who did not have a wrap of any kind on his wrist during the locker room portion of media availability, had a large cast — which looked more like a club — on his hand throughout practice.

•Willie Andrews was wearing a white jersey for practice, which usually denote offensive players (defensive players will wear blue jerseys). He spent time with both the defensive backs and wide receivers.

•Most of the time, the media is kept at least 20 yards from any of the action. But reporters got an up close and personal look at the running backs this afternoon, as running backs coach Ivan Fears put Heath Evans, Kevin Faulk, Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroney tgrough their paces on an individual blocking sled working on blitz pickup in the corner of the practice field — no more than 5-10 yards from a group of reporters.

How do you practice picking up the blitz ... against a blocking sled?
Do they CATAPULT the contraption at the players?
