I think Lekevin Smith is a lock for practice squad. Santonio has looked good enough to be poached by 3-4 teams, I've had him #6 behind Wright, but if Sullivan is getting turned around by this locker room, then he's a major talent and needs to be on the roster. I just remember how he man-handled Mankins last season.

I believe that BB will get the best out of him. A good pickup for us as it adds that , potentially, good quality depth.

Here's hoping for that all first round 4 man front.

PFW thinks Sully is a waste. Looking at him I do not agree that he looks like a "tub of goo" at all.

There is no doubt that he was a young man who thought he had it made withhis multi-million dollar rookie contract. Getting demoted to second string by the old Saints Caoches serves as a partial wakeup call. Getting shipped ou tof town by the new New Orleans coashing staff had to wake him up alittle.

Arriving in New England only to find that they gaver him a weight to report and he did showed that the coaches were getting through to him. finding out that the Pats wanted more than just him reporting at weight, befopre they would even let him practice, had to be another wakeup call.

Seeing himself look really poor as he was constantly chop blocked by Atlanta and no one cared, or sympathised, had to be another wakeup.

I think that the NE staff has awakened him.

It helps that they don't want all that much from him other than a few rotation blows for Wilfork helps too. His currenrt conditioning or lack of it still lets him go full tilt for a few snaps. He doesn't have to pace himself or play while tired as a starter would.

He can spend a season backing up and the lockeroom players riding his butt and he might actually be pretty good next season.

You can always lose the fat around the waist once you lose the fat between the ears.

Looks like he's made the first step.

To me he has already worth his value of the trade. Bethel just strained his MCL and hasn't done a thing for NO Saints.

You and I are on the same page regarding Thomas.

Last night I actually saw Sullivan hustle. I never thought I'd see that.

When I was down to TC I watched him and Vince do some warm ups. Sullivan was dogging it- just going through the motions. Vince , you could tell, was doing his with a purpose.

Has the light finally come on for Sullivan?

Sullivan will turn out to be a score.
He has played ball and was drafted high for a reason.
He just needs to focus now-he hard a rough start here and issues in NO, but our line will benefit from him.

That's what JimmyJames meant by "if he can adequately spell Vince." He didn't mean give Vince a breather. He meant, spell "Vince."

All that said... after his inaugural dumba$$ stunt, I was so ready for Sullivan to just wash out and go away. But he looked good against Washington, so, prognosis is good (enough) to keep him around. And away goes Hill -- who has been all potential no production (Wah. I wanted him to be Seymour in training.)
