Default Hobbs

How did he do?

I missed the first half and most of the 3rd qtr... and did not see Hobbs during the remainder of the game. I'm curious because we've been hearing how he's been getting torn up day after day in TC.

Yeah, and hardly anyone is mentioning him. That could mean that he did really well in coverage, which would be huge. It will open up a lot opportunities for better play from the safeties if Hobbs can shut down one side consistently against most receivers.

Was he indeed lined up left, as well?

I was thinking the same thing last nite, do not remember his number being called at all, but that may be a good thing.

That can be good and bad. No being mentioned could mean that he took his man out of the play or it could mean that he didn't do much.

I go with the former. DB's get show up easlily by getting beat.

From what I saw, a couple passes where completed against him and one was dropped early, not because of Hobbs, but because the WR turned back to catch the ball but dropped it. That was Vick's only incompletion.

Hobbs did not seem to prevent any passes on his side, and didn't seem to contribute anything of note. But most of the passes did seem to be sent Samuel's way, and he was noticeably inconsistent.
