Default Looking for Pats games from 1993 and 1994

For those who used to record Pats games, I'm looking for VHS tapes of the 1993 and 1994 seasons. What I'm offering is to convert those tapes for you to DVD or blu-ray free of charge (including shipping) and I will return the tapes along with the discs once it's done. It's an hobby of mine, so I'm well equipped and can enhanced the video quality a bit (do not expect to watch a '93 game in HD quality though !).

Or if you have no need for these tapes anymore, I will be happy to take those of yours hands (or basement) for some cash.

I'm also open to trading, as I have most games in very good shape since 1996. I also have a buch of older games, but the quality varies.

For those interested, please PM me.

With a few more Falcons fans that will visit the forum this week, I'm also looking for somebody with a good copy of the 1995 Pats/Falcons games...

I think it's really interesting to see those 2 years in particular. Since The Pats settled on sticking with particular uniforms for a decent amount of seasons ever since the merger in 1970 (there's been 3 major red Pat Patriot and 2 main blue Flying Elvis combos since). The variations of their 1960-1969 AFL unis are too numerous to list here. But the '93 & '94 new look unis were a strange period. Both years were the only year for BOTH of those home and away uniforms. The '94s were even different than the '93's. I'd KILL for a '93 home jersey with the red front & back numbers with the whites on the shoulders. It's bazaar looking.

It was great to see the new Pats with all the Parcells Giants links. The birth of the modern era Patriots. Seven game winning streak entering the '94 playoffs too. And Bledsoe was a marquee qb. The nation was finally paying attention to what was happening in Foxboro.

And those 2 strange uniform seasons.

You mean this one?

They were awesome looking....just need Pat Patriot on top and on the sleeves to complete the look...Elvis was not a good look with that Jersey IMO

YEAH! THAT one! Cool. Thanks. ima screen capture it.
And a shot of the 1994 away unis would be killer too. The ones they wore in The Cleveland playoff game vs. Coach Bill. They were better than the '93s because they made the wise decision to connect the outline on the chest & back numbers from how they were originally disconnected on the 93's. In fact, the late 70's AWAY jerseys and the 1994 AWAY jersey are my 2 favorite Pats jerseys of all time. Those 2 whites designs are so nice.

Now, if they could only get BETTER away uniforms NOW. I hate the aways. I hate disconnected outlines on chest & back numbers. They're touching on the homes! Why not on the aways too? And those blue pants with the ugly stripe scheme suck. At least in the late 90's, they had SILVER pants.

Oh, and lastly, the blue on the flying elvis on the 93-99 helmets is lighter blue than the 2000-present ones. Sometimes, these days, people look for a helmet icon to cut & paste, and they think they're using a present day one, but they're pasting a 90's one with the blue the old shade.

Does Apex even make Jerseys anymore?

I don't think so. I fact, I've never even seen anyone walking around with a replica of either year's, 93's or 94's. The first ones people started walking around in NYC (where I've been since 1986. I grew up until 20 in Connecticut, hence the Pats connection) were the late 90's blue Bledsoe's, and a favorite of all the brothas in town was the white Ty Law one. Both with the huge Elvis on the shoulders. Man, see that these days and it looks freaking enormous.

I'll never understand why they did that weird vague tinting vertical stripes pattern barely noticeable on the late 90's blue jerseys. I mean, wtf was the idea behind that deal? Woulda looked so much better with solid blue. Why the strange fat strip look?

I have a ultra rare Wilson company mid 80's Craig James #32 red home and the ultra common blue Brady #12.

I have a couple of Autographed jersey's from around that time. Ben Coates and Brisby i think.

Man was it easy to get stuff signed back then when nobody cared about them. just about the only good thing about the team in the early 90's.

I have an authentic Bledsoe jersey from Wilson from 1998,I absolutely LOVED those jerseys which had the big Elvis logo on both shoulder areas....those were probably my favorite uniform of all time for the Pats....(with the exception of the Pat Patriot logo on the Helmet of the earlier days)

What I don't get is the authentic Wilson jerseys which were out... Wilson (as far as I know) was never the on-field jersey supplier.

1993-1994 was Apex and then on it was Starter/Adidas/Reebok (in roughly that order).

I know Wilson did the Dolphins and Bills, though.

Up until 1993, I didn't know the nickname 'Patsies' was an insult... that's what I grew up with during the late 80's and early 90's.

Go PATRIOTS!
