Default SBB's 8/1 AM Practice notes

Wes was back in full uni today which means he is off the PUP which is great to see but to be honest I think he was doing more work when he was with the trainers. By my count he did not drop a pass and looked pretty crisp....He is wearing a rather large brace on the knee.

The friend I was with Sister goes out with Myron Pryor so we spent a good portion watching him and he looks pretty good should hold onto his role from last year. He has huge legs and a wide butt and seems hard to move and gets some decent penetration.

While watching Pryor Welch stood out a little as a really big kid who seems to be able to handle his own.

Tate almost made one nasty grab on the sidelines but it got brokenup then he almost caught it again.

make this one quick as the friends are coming by.

I guess some women like that kind of thing.

Is Welker's brace bigger than regular braces for this type of injury or it just looks big because he's relatively small? How many snaps did he take? Was he taking it easier than he normally would?

Thanks.

Was this the sister describing him? Just kidding!

It's probably a bigger one because he's back from the injury so soon, as a precaution if anything. Don't want to risk running him out there with a small brace.

Picture off the Patriots facebook page. Thought it might answer your questions about his brace

I believe I read somewhere a while back that it was his intention to not wear a brace during games?

Thanks for that Looks like a normal sized brace. Maybe the OP just didn't get a good a look?

really it still looks big to me that thing starts half way up his upper leg and extends half way down his lower leg.

Anyway back infront of a computer add a few more notes.

Moss had a fun moment he gave a football to a kid in the crowd for him to throw moss a pass not a bad thow either and a nice catch. Moss is the man and I am sure he made the kids day not to mention most in the crowd.

I thought Cunningham looked good today he did some work as end in nickle pakcage with Tully on the other side and two linemen. Had one play where I thought he got thru nice and a as an OLB I thought he had a play where he would have stopped the run but due to no contact it continued.

Bodden broke up the tate play I spoke of in my OP.

Gronkowski ended the day in redzone work with IMO the play of the day. Nothing amazing spectacular but a nice physical play. Gronk caught a 5 yard out maybe 3 and then pretty just leaned and used his big body to carry into the endzone. He is a big kid and it will be hard to stop him from just falling forward for a few extra yards on any given catch.
