Default Michael Bush may be available!

Trade Possibilities:

1. Marshawn Lynch, Bills: He's got a well-rounded game and could use a fresh start.

2. Ronnie Brown, Dolphins: Is it that crazy to give up a first-round pick for Brown? That's what he'd cost as a restricted free agent.

3. Leon Washington, Jets: A team would have to give up a second-round pick for Leon, which probably won't happen. The Jets would likely match any offer sheet anyhow.

4. Michael Bush, Raiders: He's the most intriguing Raiders back, yet oddly seems like the one most available. Oakland should hang on to Bush.

5. Marion Barber, Cowboys: The Cowboys say they won't deal him, but a move makes a lot of sense.

6. Pierre Thomas, Saints: He would only cost a second-round pick to get, but we suspect the Saints would match any offers.
How fast is Maroney?
If he had a good 40 score, maybe old Al would trade us Michael Bush for
Maroney.

Michael Bush would be great in the Patriots offense.
He has great hands and he is big enough to convert a 4th & 1.

This is probably the first trade thread of the offseason I agree with. Michael Bush has a lot of upside, and can run between the tackles, and is young. I'd gladly trade Maroney and a low draft pick (maybe a 6th or something) for Bush.

Wow, saw some highlights, reminds me of Corey Dillon.

Only 25 years old, with a 4.8ypc. He hasn't been used to his potential it seems.

We wouldn't have to draft a powerback. Maroney straight up.

I'd love Michael Bush. He was a beast at Louisville, just broke his leg at the wrong time. Since sitting out most of his rookie year recuperating, I think he has been pretty healthy. I seem to recall they entertained some trade offers for him a year ago, but nothing came to pass. Not sure what he'd cost either, but him and Maroney would be very complementary backs.

Intriguing idea...but somehow I don't think Davis will want to get fleeced by the Patriots yet again.

Davis would want one of the 2nd rounders.

Of all the backs on the list, give me Marion Barber. Easily one of the best hardnosed backs around. I'll never forget his 2 yard, dodge a million tackles run to avoid a safety.
