Ron McKinnon (Saints) is unrestricted. 10 years, but could be a Phifer-type for us for 2 or 3.

Jamie Sharper?
- He has experience playing ILB in a 3-4 from his days in Texas and Baltimore.
- He's in decline but the Pats like veterans.

I didn't know Foreman was a FA. A couple years ago, he was a pretty solid ILB but he had a pretty bad ankle injury and I don't know if he ever recovered. I always wished we would take a look at him. At least bring him in for a physical.

Except for guys that say we dont call them, and want 4 million a yr from cleveland...

I remember last season when Holdman and Foreman were available and a lot of folks here wanted to see the Pats sign them. They could be worth a gander now and could probably get them on the cheap.

Whatever happened to Marcus Washington? He was a stud for the Colts who went to the Skins in FA. I believe he was cut recently. He might be worth a look if available.
